The natural stone window to this Grade II listed property had weathered severely. The mullions and transoms were repaired using lime mortar. Before the lime mortar was applied armatures were fixed to provide a key for the lime mortar.
A careful selection of sands and stone dusts were used to blend in with the existing stonework colour and texture. The lime mortar was built up to match the profile of the existing moulding.
Two coats of sheltercoat were then applied to help protect the repairs and also to bring together the repairs with the rest of the window aesthetically.
