The lime mortar pointing to the Grade 1 listed building had suffered damage from water ingress due to leaking rainwater goods. This had caused the lime mortar to erode as well as the face of several areas of brickwork. The old mortar was carefully removed and replaced with a natural hydraulic lime mortar.
